In his last words to the apostles, Jesus gave them a mission:
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Mt 28:19-20)
Thus, the teaching mission of the Church comes from Christ himself. The responsibility for fulfilling that mandate passes on unchanged to the bishops and to all Catholics.
Here at St. Bartholomew's we believe it to be our primary mission to carry out these words of Jesus. As a result, we do our best to educate and form our people as Jesus has commanded us to do.
It is our intention to provide engaging Catechetical Formation for all of our parishioners, young and not so young alike.
If you are new to the Faith, or a life long Catholic, it is our hope to assist you on your journey of faith, so that, with God's constant help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we may all attain the goal, life eternal in Christ Jesus.
